Not only are organizations helping to create change to this issue, but history proves that a single individual can impact this issue for the better and may even change the world. World hunger is detrimental to millions of individuals livelihood, and it must be eliminated. However, on the bright side, there are organizations and individuals who are constantly helping to create change in this worldwide issue. To follow up, The CEO of The Hunger Project, Mary Ellen McNish, is continuing to impact the world by helping end world hunger. Mary became the CEO and president of The Hunger Project in 2010. Before this organization announced McNish to be the next CEO and president, McNish worked as the General Secretary of the American Friends Service Committee.
